MY HAIR WAS BEAUTIFUL BUT I WAS FEELING SOME GENDER FUCKERY/DYSPHORIA SO I CHOPPED IT ALL OFF SPONTANEOUSLY AND NOW I LOOK LIKE SOMEONE TOOK A CHAINSAW TO A FOREST OF PUBES AND THEN SPATTERED THE DETRITUS ON MY HEAD. I feel great though :)

Why am I telling you this, you ask? Because I felt a mighty need to unload this burden upon someone else and I remembered celery anon and thought “eh Vox won’t mind some light pube imagery, he has Seen Some Things”. And here we are.

I'm replying to this a good week late because I've been relatively slow going through my Tumblr inbox, but if I'm remembering right, I posted the pubic hair preference ask a day—or a matter of hours?—after you sent this. So, yes! Some light pube imagery will fit right in.

More importantly, FUCK YEAH! Hair will grow, and you can hack or keep it as you wish! What's important is that you feel good about the situation upstairs, whatever it is 💗

Ah yes, those pesky grey hairs do tend to throw off the shonen protagonist look a bit. Mine are nice and shiny and form a little streak at least, so maybe that counts for something?

Y'know, I support you 100%, speaking as someone who's hair has currently grown from its last cut to the standard™ shonen protagonist length. Granted, I have more than a few greys scattered in there, so the effect is a lil different.

Hell, I've seen ships involving people with no blood or emotional familial relation (that is, not related by blood, not adopted, not step-family) called incest because they were childhood friends or fandom-assigned found family or even just called each other "bro" once upon a time.

While we're sharing haircut stories:

I've been wearing a crew cut or buzz cut for some six years now, and I always go to a barber for it because I know exactly what'll happen if I try to buzz it myself. Cue the pandemic! Full lockdown, I couldn't go out—nor did I want to. But my hair situation was getting unmanageable. Luckily, I was living with my mother at the time, and she'd trimmed my hair before. So I asked her to make it as short as she could.

And she did! Based on vision and vibes, as opposed to some YT tutorial.

Let's just say I spent a good week looking like a rat ate all my hair while I was asleep. My hair grows fast, so the disaster zone got covered up after that period, but it was sure a...look.

Anyway, yes, tis an honor to be the slated recipient of your pubic word vomit (and that sounds like something for r/BrandNewSentence).
